Communication in the Last 20 Years

Communication has changed dramatically since the time telephones were first invented. Technology has definately influenced society over the years, since there is always a new invention every half a decade. Communication used to be when people conversed and interacted with each other face-to-face and when people sent each other letters. Later in the 20th century, telephones were invented and everyone talked to each other through an electrical line. Then telephones modified into a cordless phone, the cellular phone. People could talk to each other outside of their homes and anywhere else in the world. At the start of 21st century, the Internet became accessible to the general public. People were able to communicate to each other through email, Facebook, Twitter, and so much more. Now we have video phones where people can have conference calls with each other and see their faces. Communication has become a lot easier to the comtemporary society and there is sooo much access with todays communication than ever before. Although, communication now has its own cons. Youth of this generation are not able to intereact with other each normally when they are face-to-face with someone. Also their language has become more slang and improper using text language as a substitute to proper English or any other language. Communication now has lost its luster, since almost every kid in the world rather stay in-doors and converse with another person through text and video chat.
